Difference between stamping die and injection mold

- Apr 09, 2020-

  1. Stamping die is a kind of special process equipment that processes materials (metal or non-metal) into parts (or semi-finished products) in the cold stamping process. It is called cold stamping die (commonly known as cold stamping die). Stamping is a kind of pressure processing method which uses the die installed on the press to exert pressure on the material to produce separation or plastic deformation at room temperature, so as to obtain the required parts.

  2. Injection molding is a kind of ZD processing method used in the mass production of some complex parts. Specifically, the material melted by heat is injected into the mold cavity by high pressure, and after cooling and solidification, the formed product is obtained.
