Grade of precision plastic molds

According to the American SPI-SPE standard, the mold categories are as follows:


I. model 101 (SPI-SPE standard 1000K beer or above, long-term precision production Molds)


A detailed die structure drawing is required.

The minimum hardness of die material is 280bn.

The steel of internal mold with glue position must be hard to 48 ~ 50HRC.

Other parts such as row position, press lock, press strip, etc. shall also be hardware.

The ejector plate shall have a guidepost.

There should be a hard disk in the row.

If necessary, temperature control shall be provided for the upper mold, lower mold, and row position.

It is recommended to use non-electric nickel dipping or 420 stainless steel as formwork for all water transport channels, so as to prevent rust and clean up garbage.

A straight lock or inclined lock is required.



II. 102 molds (no more than 1000K beer, mass production molds)


A detailed die structure drawing is required.

The minimum hardness of die material is 280bhn.

The steel of internal mold with glue position shall be hard to 48 ~ 52hrc at least, and other useful parts shall be treated in the same way.

A straight lock or inclined lock is recommended.

The following items may or may not be required, depending on the final production quantity. It is recommended to check whether the following items are required when quoting:

Ejector plate guidepost.

Line position hard disk.

C. electroplate water hole.

D. plating die cavity.


III. model 103 (less than 500K beer, medium production molds)


A detailed die structure drawing is required.


The minimum hardness of die material is 165bhn. (DME ා 1 steel / 1040 steel)


The internal mold steel is P20 (28 ~ 32hrc) or high 


hardness (36 ~ 38hrc).


The rest depends on the need.



IV. 104 models (less than 100k beer, a small number of production mold)


To mold the structure diagram.


Die material P20 (28 ~ 32hrc) can be made of mild steel or aluminum (1040 steel).


Aluminum, mild steel or other approved metal can be used for the internal mold.


The rest depends on the need.



V. 105 models (less than 500 beer, first model or test mold)


Aluminum cast iron or epoxy resin or any material can be used as long as it has enough strength to produce the minimum number of tests.
