Avante Technology Introduces Design And 3D Printing Services For Injection Molds

- Jul 07, 2017-

Recently, the advanced 3D printing materials and technology developers AvanteTechnology issued a news that it introduced for injection molds new "MoldNow" design and 3D printing services.

All the molds produced by the service will be made using Avante's own composite material. The company believes that by providing this service, it can provide customers with everything they need, whether it is injection mold, compression mold or vacuum mold. In this regard, the company also promised that all types of molds will be able to provide the highest quality production parts.

"3D printing dies can reduce costs and shorten time-to-market, save weeks to months of production time and save up to 90% of the cost, which, to a certain extent, attracts more companies to evaluate 3D printing molds," said Robert Zollo, president of AvanteTechnology. "Part of the new product market" strategy.

It is reported that Avante's mold design can further increase the cost-effectiveness, cost as low as 2,500 US dollars, the company believes that its services also eliminates the manufacturers of a large number of technical risks. It is also designed to address some limitations. In other words, these limitations involve the high cost of operating the industrial 3D printing platform, or the lack of 3D print materials that print mold grade components on an affordable open source printer, and the lack of an optimized version for converting metal mold designs to 3D printing Aspects of knowledge.

Thanks to its FilaOneGREY injection mold grade, Avante thinks it can solve these problems. High-performance composites provide mold cavities that can support dozens or even more than 100 molding cycles, producing high-quality parts using a range of thermoplastics. FilaOne materials can be used in more affordable high-precision open source platforms, such as the German RepRap, AirWolf and Roboze.

With Avante's design expertise in printing molds, users only need to provide CAD and .STL files, as well as any configuration requirements specific to the injection molding machine. Avante's design services include preliminary tool design, printing prototype molds for testing, any design that needs to be revised, and print the final mold. The first prototype mold will be shipped within one week after the customer has approved it.
