The hot runner is so mundane, mainly because it has the advantage that traditional molds cannot compare:
1.Reduce the molding cycle of the part. Because there is no restriction on the cooling time of the sprue system, the parts can be quickly ejected after solidification. Many thin-walled parts made with hot runner molds can be molded for less than 5 seconds;
2. Handling plastic raw materials. Since there is no cold runner in the pure hot runner mold, there is no production cost. This is more and more important about reducing the cost of raw materials. In fact, the international hot runner manufacturers have achieved rapid development in the era of high oil and plastic raw materials. Because hot runner technology is a useful way to reduce the cost of raw materials by reducing costs;
3. Reduce the cost and increase the product quality. During the hot runner mold forming process, the plastic melt temperature is accurately regulated in the runner system. Plastics can flow into the cavities in a more even manner, thus producing a variety of parts. In addition, the hot runner forming parts have good quality, low residual stress after demolding, and small part deformation. Therefore, many high-quality products on the market are made by hot runner molds;
4, eliminate the subsequent processes, is conducive to production automation. After the workpiece is molded by the hot runner mold, it is a molded article, and there is no need to trim the gate and recover the processing of the cold runner. Conducive to production automation;
5. Enlarge the use boundary of the injection molding process. Many advanced plastic molding processes have been developed in the art of hot runners.
